"YOUR TRANSPORTATION!"
Luke 16:22
“So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.”

When I was returning home from my unaccompanied assignment in Canada, my wife Joyce flew to Montreal to meet me. A man I had met in St. Anthony, Newfoundland had invited us to spend a few days at his resort north of Montreal and arranged for his driver to pick us up at a certain café.

We were about finished with our meal when we were informed our driver was waiting outside. As we walked out of the café we saw a stretch limousine that appeared to be a block long. It's safe to say that Joyce and I felt like we were out of our element that day as we were transported to a fantastic resort in that elegant limousine.

In today’s Scripture we are told of the death of two men. One was a beggar who was a believer and the other was a rich man who was an unbeliever. The methods of transport for the two men is startling. The believer was carried away by angels while the unbeliever was simply buried.

Each one of us will leave this life. The question is how we will leave and what will be our destination. There is agony and eternal suffering awaiting those who do not know the Lord unto salvation. But the angels are waiting for the Master of our souls to transport us to Paradise! I can hardly wait!
